COVID-19 Updates

From all of us at Upper Peninsula Periodontics, we appreciate your patience and understanding during these challenging times. Here are some updates on what you can expect and what we plan to implement to serve our patients and community safely:

What We Have Done and What We Are Doing:

We are continuing to monitor the guidelines and recommendations put forth by the State of Michigan, Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and American Academy of Periodontology.

We have maintained engineered controls in our office by implementing HEPA air purifiers throughout the office to attempt to mitigate the risk of dental procedures and the potential for aerosols within our office, as well as other procedures and current best practices.

We are implementing increased personal protective equipment and disinfection procedures to address the common spaces and treatment areas to reduce the potential for transmission of disease.

What To Expect When You Arrive:

Hand Sanitizer – Will be available upon entering the office and throughout the office.

Face covering – During patient treatment, we will be following recommended protocols and procedures that will vary depending on the level of treatment being conducted.

Upcoming Appointments:

Face covering – You are not required to wear a mask at this time to enter our office, though you are welcome to wear one if you chose.

Will Serve Our Patients – As safely as possible following all local and state guidelines

Stay In Touch With Us – We will update this page or you can reach us at 906-228-6830 or office@up-perio.com
